Maroondah Recruitment Information Night - Postponed due to current uncertainties
Have you ever thought about a future in volunteering? If so, now is your chance to make a difference and support your Maroondah community with the Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES).
The SES Maroondah Unit is called on to assist the community in times of need, and now we are asking for more volunteers to help.
We are looking to sign up new volunteers with a focus on daytime availability to help when many of our volunteers are at work, as well as new volunteers with traditional availability in the evenings and on weekends. We are keen to train people who may be retired or semi-retired to meet our daytime response requirements.
Accredited training and personal protective equipment will be provided, but people who apply must have the time (we meet every Monday evening for training). Anyone interested in joining must be willing to learn and have a reasonable fitness level. Tasks done by volunteers include minor building repairs, cutting up fallen trees, assisting with flooding and assisting other emergency services.
Please register your interest by filling in the form below.
